Welcome to "AE I Owe You", a spot for tutorials and helpful tips relating to Visual Effects and Motion Graphics. While the majority of posts will relate to AE (After Effects), this blog will also showcase other software as well. At least the ones I know how to use. ;) If you find something useful here, feel free to say so in the comment sections. Enjoy.

I can see that your tuts are going to be great. I can't wait for you to celebrate your 100th tutorial!
One slight criticism if I may. I am a newbie so a short explanation of motion tracking and why I would want to use SynthEyes rather than the tool within AE would be welcome. You wasted no time getting to the interface without spending a little time getting newbies up to speed. Sometimes a couple sentences is all that's needed. Or maybe a rating system is what you need? This one would be marked "Intermediate".
Thanks for this new resource!
Hey! Congratulations on your first tutorial. It was very good, especially for people who have no idea about 3D tracking. When I had to pick my 3D tracking tool I've been testing SynthEyes for sometime. In the end I ended up using something else, but it would be my second choice.
Once again... Great tut!
Cheers
Great tutorial. This is an excellent introduction into 3D tracking which i have recently started learning.
